Frequently Asked Questions About Domestic Hajj

Who is eligible to apply for Domestic Hajj?

Saudi citizens and residents within the Kingdom are eligible to apply, provided they are at least 15 years old and hold a National ID or Iqama valid through the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Priority is given to those who have not previously performed Hajj.

When does registration open for Domestic Hajj services?

You can book Domestic Hajj service packages starting from the 1st of Dhul-Qi'dah until the 7th of Dhul-Hijjah through approved platforms such as Nusuk.

How do I obtain my Hajj permit?

After completing your registration and paying the required fees, a print order is issued upon approval from the Ministry of Interior. You can print the permit from the Absher platform, or view it via the Tawakkalna app and your booking page on Nusuk.

What are the conditions for canceling a booking and receiving a refund?

Cancellation requests are processed according to the approved Nusuk and Absher cancellation policies. You may cancel before the permit is issued and up to 30/10/1447 AH without any deductions. Once the permit is issued, scheduled deductions apply based on the date of your cancellation request. Please note that no refunds are issued for cancellations made from 01/12/1447 AH until the platform closes.

What documents are required for registration?

You must provide a valid National ID or Iqama, proof of a valid meningitis vaccination, and fulfill any additional health requirements mandated by the Ministry of Health for the current season.

Can women register for Domestic Hajj without a Mahram?

In accordance with recent directives, women can perform Hajj within organized groups without the requirement of a Mahram in certain cases. They are provided with separate accommodations while sharing transportation facilities.
